HARRISBURG, Pa. – A Harrisburg woman faces multiple charges after allegedly firing several shots at her ex-boyfriend over the weekend.
At about 9:37 p.m. Sunday night, police responded to the 500 block of Woodbine Street for a report of shots fired. Officers arriving on the scene made contact with a 31 year old male victim. It was determined that the man was leaving a local bar and was walking north on Moore Street. About mid-block he heard his ex-girlfriend, 44 year old Queen McNair, yell at him. The victim continued to walk across the street to get away from her.

McNair then followed him to Forrest and Moore Streets and shortly thereafter the victim heard a loud “pop”. He looked behind and saw McNair holding a black handgun. The victim, who was in fear for his safety, took off running north and heard two more shots behind him. The last shot struck his left shoe in the area of his ankle.
He ran to Woodbine Street and proceeded to call the police. McNair was found in the area and taken into custody. She denied firing the shots.
Charges against McNair include Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering another Person, Unlawful to Fire Weapon in City Limits, and Disorderly Conduct.
For the curious, Aggravated Assault in Pennesylvania, depending on how it is charged, can carry a sentence of 10-20 years as a first-degree felony, or maximum 10 years as a second-degree felony.
