MILLVILLE — A city woman has been arrested in connection with a weekend stabbing here, police said Monday.
Ramona Howard, 46, of Oak Street has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to Millville Det. Sgt. Brian Starcher.
Police responded to the 500 block of East Oak Street around 10:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing.
They found a woman, 38, with multiple stab wounds, police said. The unidentified victim was taken to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.
Howard was arrested a short time after the Saturday night incident, Starcher said.
Police say it’s believed an argument lead to the stabbing.
